Description
English: Chinese Gardens, Rivington. The gardens were built by Lord Leverhulme, owner of Sunlight Soaps. Lord Leverhulme, born William Hesketh, was a native of Bolton, and after he made his fortune he built the ornamental gardens and a house, on his Rivington estate.
