Español: Bandera del municipio de Santa Rosa del Sur (Bolívar).

"Fue el primer símbolo utilizado en la historia de la vida municipal, el 23 de noviembre de 1989 bajo la alcaldía del señor: LUIS GONZALO ARIZA. En los primeros 5 años como municipio. Esta basada en el escudo municipal que mas tarde fue oficializado. COLORES VERDE: ocupa la mitad de toda la bandera. Representa a nuestra amada naturaleza circundante y su fertilidad. En cuanto al valor de nuestras gentes significa esperanza vida y futuro. BLANCO: representa el alma y nervio de sentido Santarroseño, amante de la PAZ Y AMIGO DE LAVERDAD. Es el símbolo de la Pureza. AMARILLO: Es el símbolo representativo a las incalculables riquezas del suelo y subsuelo del terruño Santarroseño a la variedad de productos agrícolas, ganaderos, de flora y fauna de las distintas oportunidades de trabajo y sobre todo la hidalguía de sus gentes que no permanecen quietos por que constantemente buscan nuevas perspectivas."
