Reason for the nomination:
Per COM:NOTEDU: One of the many entirely fictitious early caliphate flags, that from here have spread to the rest of the internet; apart from the fact that national flags in the modern sense did not exist then, the Umayyads never used green as their color. The flag is only used in a couple of personal WP spaces, for such things as 'imaginary wars'.
