This is certainly the largest, and also one of the best specimens of ferrocolumbite I have seen from ANY locale. It was part of Bancroft's competition worldwide case, 30 years or more ago, and comes with his "custom foam base" which is of the style used at that time (tacky...). It is a huge and well formed crystal with good luster, a rich chocolate-brown color, and with interesting vertical striations. The termination is pristine and only the back side is contacted - otherwise it is complete all around! This specimen has to be considered one of the finest of its species. Absolutely mind boggling!
