English: Federation Filigree Shop (1907), on Percival Road Stanmore
The land on which this shop-house was built was bought by in about 1902 by Arthur Parffitt, who built a house of three rooms and sold the property in 1907 to Arthur Hand and Alfred Mantova in 1907. It was described as a "Shop & Dwg, incomplete" later in 1907, so the new owners must have either demolished the existing building and or more likely added to it. The date on the parapet of the shop is 1907. The shop's first tennant upon completion was Charles Schmidt, who ran a grocery business in it.
