Description
English: NASA satellite image of a powerful winter storm impacting California at peak intensity, on February 11, 2005. The winter storm brought widespread flooding and powerful winds to the state, triggering blackouts in some areas. The center of the storm stalled off the coast and nearly made landfall on Orange County on February 12, before dissipating on the next day.
