This web functionality runs a once typed Search Term Expression in the follwoing databases in boolean mode: PubMed, Metatextbook, Wiley-Blackwell, LWW, Informa, Highwire, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Pres, Sage Publications, Bentham, Mary Ann Liebert, Walter de Gruyter, Ingenta, Scirus (Literature, Websites Patents), Metapress, PubMedCentral PMC, BioOne, EMconsulte, Redalyc, J-Stage, CiNii, xJOL collection, MS acad, CiteULike, CiteSeer, BASE (search engine), Frontiers Media, Wjgnet, Amepc, Arjournals, Asciencejournal, Worldsciencepublisher, Elmerpress, STMjournals, PAGEpress, OMIM, Cochrane, Guidelines.gov.
It deconstructs the search term to run simpler searches on those sites which do not accept human-type boolean expressions in the formats Fuzzy/g, all OR, all AND, only phrase, only word. Not to blame them, I dont mention them in this short description.
All searches are run on the database/publishers sites and no systematic metaaggregation of tables-of-results are possible. With a Firefox extension, you can check whether a Title could be located in PubMed, to make use of all the famous linkout options of the Metatextbook common linkout box.
