English: Fatih Pasha Mosque in Diyarbakir, built in the early 16th century just a few years after Selim II conquered the city. This makes it one of the first Ottoman monuments in the city.
Note: Photo is from 2014, about a year before a period of fighting and bombing with the Turkish army destroyed much of the surrounding neighbourhoods. I assume the mosque has been restored since then (it is still visible on Google satellite imagery), but not sure if it was damaged during the fighting.
