Description
English: Map of Farghana in the tenth century. Map is primarily based on the information provided by al-Ishtakhri, pages 335 and 346, and Ibn Hawqal, pp. 398-99 and 405. The routes in the province are described somewhat differently in Ibn Khurradadhbih, pages 29-30, and al-Muqaddasi, p. 301. Sources:
