The University of Birmingham honours Michael Faraday, 1791-1867, chemist and physicist. 781515 "The greatest of all experimental physicists", he discovered many of the properties of electricity. Paolozzi conveys Faraday's monumental stature - is there also a disturbing suggestion of the electric chair?
