English: The murderer E. Falleni in male clothing, probably on the day of arrest. Picture was found in an envelope inscribed with "Falleni man/woman"
A photograph in a series of around 2500, taken between 1910-1930 by the New South Wales Police Department. The men and women in this series of photographs were usually allowed to dress and pose as they wished. In this case it is however unknown whether Falleni chose to dress as a man or was forced to do so.
