English: Fairview Sanitorium, 905 N Main St, Normal, Illinois. The Fairview Sanitorium was designed by Bloomington architect Arthur L. Pillsbury. Constructed in 1919, this facility originally served as a tuberculosis sanitorium operated by McLean County. It was a tuberculosis treatment facility until 1965, after which multiple County and local organizations--including the McLean County Health Department--occupied the building until its closure in 2012. As of 2024, it serves as a records storage site. It was designated on the National Register on September 1, 2021.
