Summary

Description

A Blackburn built Swordfish, she saw both Royal Air Force and Royal Navy service before becoming part of the Imperial War Museum collection in June 1952. Displayed in the Lambeth museum from 1959 to 1986, she then came to Duxford. In preparation for ‘AirSpace’, a restoration was carried out, during which she was fitted with an ASV Mk.X radome under the forward fuselage and painted in appropriate 119sqn markings. She remains on display in the ‘AirSpace’ hangar at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford Airfield, Cambridgeshire, UK.
