В годы правления премудрого царя Льва, сына Ва- силия Македонянина, в Риме правил папа Формос проклятый, придерживавшийся Евгений, Валентин, Григорий, Сергий, которого прежде звали Свинячий род, Лео, Иоанн из Ангил- ского рода, Венедикт, Николай, Андри- ан, Иоанн, Мартин, Андриан, Стефан. Все они были православ- ными папами и еди- номышленниками четырех патриархов: Константинопольско- го, Александрийского, Антиохийского и Ие- русалимского. 508 он же написал об- манное исповедание православной веры и отослал к четырем патриархам. тайной ереси, проис- ходящей от каких-то еретиков князя Карла.
