Description A U.S. Navy Vought F4U-1A Corsair (BuNo 17656) of Fighting Squadron VF-17 Jolly Rogers pictured on Nissan Island, Green Island Group, after making an emergency landing there. The airstrip had not yet been completed when the aircraft arrived.
