DescriptionF. J. Martin House, Capitol Hill, Seattle.jpg
English: A home at 922 17th Avenue North, built in 1902 for F.J. Martin, secretary of the Northwestern Mutual Fire Association. It is the earliest known commission of architect John Graham, Sr., who would go on to become one of Seattle's greatest 20th century architects. The home's original porch, shown here beginning to deteriorate, was later removed. The home still stands today, with a reconstructed porch.
