Summary

Description A U.S. Navy McDonnell Douglas F-4J-34-MC Phantom II (BuNo 155781) of Fighter Squadron VF-33 "Tarsiers" approaching for an arrested landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CVA-62). VF-33 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7) aboard the Independence for a deployment to the mediterranean Sea from 23 June 1970 to 1 February 1971.
