Summary

Description
English: A narrow, white wooden box carriage rests on a very short piece of track with a gauge of 600 millimetres. The carriage has "Explosives" painted in red on the side and end. The top half of the side is hinged so it can be lifted up and the inside loaded with explosives. The carriage was used on a horse-drawn tramway carrying explosives from Laverton Railway Station to the Truganina Explosives Reserve and then onto a loading pier on Altona Bay in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is on display in the old explosives reserve.
