Summary

Description
English: This is a Mini-RF S1 total backscatter radar image taken in the S-band. It shows a fresh lunar impact crater with a visible ejecta blanket. The ejecta blanket shows a gap called a "zone of avoidance," which forms in the direction the impactor approached from in the case of a shallow-angle impact.
