Summary

Description
English: PhD student Hajrah Khawaja is currently working in the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology in Belfast. Cultures of different cancer cell lines is necessary to study the many different types of cancers, which involves a long amount of time sitting at and doing work in the laminar flow hoods. The hoods are designed to remove microbes from the air so cultures do not get infected and allow this type of work to proceed.
