Afrikaans: Blomme van Bruinhoenderspoor by Skeerpoort, aan die suidhang van die Magaliesberg. Die basis van die blompakkie is regs, en die punt van die rachis na links. Die blommetjies is lineêr aan die verlengde (groen) rachilla gerangskik, met hangende wit helmknoppe sigbaar onder, en die veeragtige stempels bo.
English: Open florets on a spikelet of Brown Rhodes grass, at Skeerpoort on the southern slope of the Magaliesberg, South Africa. The base of the inflorescence is at right, and the tip of the rachis to the left. The florets are linearly attached to the extended (green) rachilla, with suspended white anthers visible below, and the feathery stigmas above.
