Description
English: A Mississippian culture avian motif repoussé copper plate based on an artifact from the Etowah Mounds site in the US state of Georgia. Examples of this type of artwork were made as elite status goods and have been found as artifacts in the several states in the Midwest and Southeast US.[1]
