Summary

Description
  • English: Limestone stele of King Seanjipta. 2nd Intermediate Period, dynasties XIII-XIV (1785-1633 B.C.E.). On the left the king appears in front of the god Ptah; On the right Nebsumenu, donor of the stele, makes an offering to Anubis. The text below describes the change in the use of some lands, which ceased to be for cultivation & became "district use."

  • Español: Estela de caliza del rey Seanjipta. Segundo Período Intermedio, dinastías XIII-XIV (1785-1633 a. C.). A la izquierda el rey aparece frente al dios Pta; a la derecha Nebsumenu, donante de la estela, hace una ofrenda a Anubis. El texto inferior describe el cambio de uso de unas tierras, que dejan de ser de cultivo para ser «de distritos».
