| Description |
English: This image shows a portion of Espinaso Ridge, a hogback ridge in New Mexico, USA. The ridge is located just south of the I-25 corridor between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. It is underlain by resistant beds of the Espinaso Formation that stand out when the less resistant beds of the overlying Santa Fe Group and underlying Gallisteo Formation are eroded away. |
