Español: Escudo del municipio de Vergara, Cundinamarca (Colombia):[1] Siguiendo las pautas de la heráldica francesa, cortinado, ostenta en la parte superior las palabras “Dios, Patria”, y en su extremo inferior “Ciencia, Libertad”. El escudo se enmarca en una corona elaborada en brazos de café, uno de los productos sobresalientes de la economía lugareña. En el centro tiene como distintivos los dos elementos naturales más significativos de la región y orgullo de Vergara, la majestuosa ceiba y al fondo el vigilante cerro Sautatumi o de Teresa, coronado por el sol radiante que ilumina al Valle de Pinzaima que tuvo como vía principal el Río Vitagaima hoy Pinzaima. |
