Erika Weinzierl ("Nacht des Schweigens")

Deutsch: Die Historikerin Erika Weinzierl während ihrer Rede anlässlich der "Nacht des Schweigens" auf dem Heldenplatz in Wien. In Erinnerung an den "Anschluss" Österreichs an das Deutsche Reich 70 Jahre zuvor wurden 80.000 Kerzen für die rund 80.000 namentlich bekannten österreichischen Opfer der NS-Regimes entzündet und ihre Namen während der ganzen Nacht auf vier Leinwände projiziert.
English: Historian Erika Weinzierl during her speech at the "Nacht des Schweigens" ("Night of Silence") at the Heldenplatz in Vienna. In remembrance of the "Anschluss", the annexion of Austria by Nazi Germany 70 years ago, 80.000 candles were lit for the Austrian victims murdered in the years from 1938 to 1945 and their names were projected on four screens during the whole night.
