Deutsch: Koblenz, Rathaus II Gymnasialstraße. Epitaph des Heinrich von Rübenach im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Von Rübenach (um 1420–1493), war in seiner Jugend Pater der Dominikaner in Koblenz. Später Theologieprofessor und erhielt die Bischofswürde. Nach einem wechselvollen Leben kehrte er in seine Heimatstadt zurück, in der er am 4. Oktober 1493 verstarb. Rübenach wurde im Chor der Predigerkirche a an der Koblenzer Weißergasse beigesetzt. Seine Grabplatte blieb erhalten und befindet sich in einem ehemaligen Gebäude des Jesuitenkollegs, dem heutigen Rathaus der Stadt. |
