Summary

Description
English: Front and side view of a pseudo-hammerstone, an eolith unearthed in Southeastern France. Once believed to be the earliest expression of stone tool industry, modern consensus acknowledges eoliths to be rock fragments produced by natural phenomena (geofacts) rather than man-made artifacts, with Marcellin Boule being one of the first to debunk their artificial status.
