Description Design of a mitre crown for Christian IV of Denmark. Never produced. Instead an open crown was produced by Dirich Fyring in Odense 1595-96, which still exists. It is likely that an imperial crown was later contemplated but never produced due to Christian's defeat in the Thirty Year War.
