DescriptionEntrance road to Hartland Point lighthouse - geograph.org.uk - 702595.jpg
English: Entrance road to Hartland Point lighthouse The lighthouse was built by Trinity House in 1874 under the direction of Sir James Douglass. This picture was taken in 1973, when the station was manned by four keepers, who lived in the houses in the foreground with their families. When the light was automated in 1984, these buildings were demolished to make way for the helipad.
