Description
Español: La obra representa el entierro milagroso de Gonzalo Ruiz de Toledo, que fue señor de Orgaz y falleció en Toledo el día 3 de diciembre de 1323, durante el reinado de Alfonso XI de Castilla, en la iglesia de Santo Tomé de Toledo. Según los relatos de la época, cuando estaban dando sepultura a su cadáver en dicho templo se aparecieron San Agustín de Hipona y San Esteban quienes, sosteniéndolo el primero por la cabeza y el segundo por los pies, lo depositaron en el sepulcro.
