Description
English: Enterprize class (1770)

Scale 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth for building 'a Frigate' , a 28-gun, Sixth Rate, Frigate. This plan could be the design plan for Enterprize class, rather then for a specific ship. Therefore on a design level, this plan can relate to all the class. Although the 'as built' plans do show some variations. The plan is signed J.Williams (Surveyor of the Navy) Note:The state of J.Williams signiture indicates that this plan was made before 1782, when his writing deteriated noticeably.
