Deutsch: August Haake malte das Gemälde "Entenhäuser" in dem Zeitraum 1911-1914 in Fischerhude bei Bremen, Deutschland. Die Entenhäuser stehen in dem Fluss Wümme. Rechts führt eine Brücke über einen Seitenarm der Wümme.
English: August Haake painted "Duck houses" over a period of 1911-1914 in Fischerhude near Bremen. The duck houses are standing in the river Wümme. On the right side goes a path and a footbridge over a branch by the Wümme.
Français : « Les maisons aux canards », par August Haake (Article en Allemand). La peinture n'est ni datée ni siangée, elle a été peinte entre 1911 et 1914 près de Brême (Allemagne). Ces cabanes sont dans la rivière Wümme. Sur la droite, un sentier et une passerelle qui franchit un bras de la rivière. Deux trous de part et d'autre, en haut de la toile étaient utilisés par l'artiste pour la transporter en l'accrochant sur son dos avec une ficelle lors de ses déplacements en mobylette. Ils sont considérés comme une signature du peintre. |

August Haake used to ride his motorcycle from Bremen to Fischerhude. His painting was hanging on the way behind his back. This is the simple reason that the painting has two holes on the top.
