Summary

Description
English: Sculpture of Enishkeetompauog Narragansett, located at the Narragansett Indian Monument, Sprague Park, Narragansett, Rhode Island (standing approximately 20 ft. high). Sculpted by Peter Wolf Toth as one among the w:Trail of the Whispering Giants sculptures. Dedicated on 12 Aug 1982. Purportedly many Narragansett Indians attended the dedication, including Princess Red Wing and Roaring Bull (AKA Ferris Dove), who was the last traditional war chief of the Narragansett Tribe.[1][2] Coincidentally, when this picture was taken, Craig "Little Fox" Champlin and other tribal members were in the process of refitting the stone base of the monument.
