Summary

Description
English: Mural in the Wisconsin Supreme Court, inside the Wisconsin State Capitol building, Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Artist: Albert Herter (1871-1950). The painting was reviewed in 1916 in The International Studio, Volume 57. Thus it is now in the public domain because first published in the United States before 1923.
Herter's teenaged son Christian (later U.S. Secretary of State) posed for the page in the foreground, left.
