Summary

Description
English: Chapel built in 1790 as Emmanuel Congregational Chapel. The congregation moved to Emmanuel Congregational Church on Trumpington Street in 1874 and the building was used as the premises of the Balfour Biological Laboratory for Women from 1881 until 1914. The building hosted the Department of Biochemistry from 1919 to 1923 and remained available for research until 1927. The building now appears to be owned by St Andrews Street Baptist Church.
