English: Emma Kickapoo, Native American woman, wrapped in United States flag, post June 1913. She was the only member of the Kickapoo tribe who would accept the flag, the others mistrusted gifts from the US government.
The pictures may have been taken by Joseph Kossuth Dixon, who led the expedition or by members of his staff, Rollin Lester Dixon, W.B. Cline, and John D. Scott.
