Description
English: Amir Habibullah Kalakani (19 January 1891 – 1 November 1929) took power in January 1929 by deposing Shah Amanullah Khan. He was the first Tajik king in modern Afghan history, although he was ousted by Nader Khan after only a few months. Kalakani returned to Kabul at the invitation of Nader Khan, who signed the Peace and Reconciliation Agreement in the Quran, but Nader Khan broke the peace deal and hung Kalakani in early November 1929.
