Description
English: Stolperstein for Else Hirsch, seen from a distance. Else Hirsch was a Jewish teacher who organized 10 children's transports out of Nazi Germany. The commemorative plaque is located at Huestraße 28 in downtown Bochum, where Hirsch once taught. The plaque reads "Else Hirsch, b. 1889, taught here 1927-1941. Deported 1942. Murdered in Riga"
