English: Escultura del "Fiel Contraste", obra de Ramón Conde, instalada el 30 de abril de 2010 en la calle Alhóndiga, detrás de la Casa Consistorial de Pontevedra (Galicia, España). La escultura mide 1,93 metros de alto, pesa 300 KG de peso y representa la figura de un funcionario municipal de la Edad Media, responsable de dar fe de los pesos y medidas y de garantizar las transacciones comerciales, para lo que se valía de la balanza. La escultura es un homenaje al funcionario honrado. Sólo 15 días después de ser instalada, la escultura sufrió varios daños a manos de unos vándalos.

Sculpture of the "True Contrast", by Ramón Conde, installed on April 30th of 2010 in Alhóndiga Street, behind the Town Hall of Pontevedra (Galicia, Spain). The sculpture is 1.93 meters tall, weighs 300 KG and is the figure of a municipal official of the Middle Ages, attest responsible for weights and measures and ensuring business transactions, for what is worth of the balance. The sculpture is a tribute to the staff honored. Just 15 days after being installed, the sculpture suffered various damages at the hands of vandals.
