Description
English: This image shows thick beds of unconsolidated El Cajete Pumice of the East Fork Member, Valles Rhyolite, in the western wilderness area of Bandelier National Monument, New Mexico, USA. The East Fork Member was erupted about 74,000 years ago from a vent south of Redondo Mountain in the Valles caldera and is one of the youngest volcanic units in the Jemez volcanic field.l
