Summary

Description
English: Reproduction of a print by Otto Eerelman, a Dutch painter who published a work on horse breeds (Paardenrassen Kunstalbum) in 1898. The horse is identified as a Hanoverian, a more refined breed of all-purpose horse from Germany. The coat color is chestnut. The left-hand side of the background features the front of a box stall, while the right-hand side features a loose or tie stall. The cloth object is a horse blanket. "Hanoverian" is Anglicized from "Hannoveraner" (German) or "Hannover paard" (Dutch).
