Summary

Description
English: This is a slightly cropped version of a photo taken in 1958 for the Historic American Buildings Survey. The house, at 2 Benevolent St., Providence, RI, was designed by the architect Thomas Alexander Tefft. The description from the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division reads: "It was a large, yet compact, three-story, brick building with brownstone trim, typical of Tefft's work."
