Description
English: World War I era portrait photograph, taken by Harris & Ewing, Washington, D.C.. Lieutenant Isaacs was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism as a prisoner of war after USS President Lincoln was sunk on 31 May 1918. He changed his name to Edouard V. M. Izac in July 1925. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
