On the obverse is a portrait of Queen Victoria, text: VICTORIA QUEEN. Reverse text: EAST INDIA COMPANY / ONE CENT / 1845. Smooth edge. Engraver William Wyon. Minted in a circulation of 18.525.893 pcs.
