If you haven't already been to the East End Brewing Company over on North Dallas in Homewood I ask you, why not? You don't like beer, you say? That's not good enough a reason. GoodBeer, will make you like beer.
For three years the good people (alright person) at East End has been providing the City of Pittsburgh with delicious, vegetarian, sustainable-y responsible brews. Not to mention that going there to fill up some half gallon growlers of beer is one of the best parts of my week,
Get handed a glass, try some of their beers, trade jabs with Rich, it is truly a miraculous adult playground... of beer.
Pictured above are growlers of The Black Strap Stout and the Fat Gary Nut Brown. In the tin can is a scoop from a being brewed batch of the Snow Melt winter Ale, one of the most magical winters I've ever tasted.
Seriously. Here's the damn map and address, it's the door with the keg out front. Next time they're open for growlers is Thursday 5-7 and then Saturday 12-5, if you need somebody to hold your hand, then look no further than me, otherwise I'll see you sometime saturday.
