Summary

Description
English: A schematic showing the earphones ear attachment concept, designed by KVDP. The earphones ear attachments are designed to be used with out-ear earphones. They would allow use of out-ear earphones even with activities incorporating shocks to the earphones (eg running, ...). Otherwise, out-ear earphones have the tendency to fall out of the ears. The design would also allow the future implementation of a retractible microphone (eg for accepting phonecalls). An extra advantage is that environmental sounds are not completely blocked out (thus still allowing environmental awareness; eg use in urban environments). The attachment could be used with any device requiring earphones, but was initially conceived for use with the Improved UMPC design
