English: Approximate location of South Slavic tribes in the Early Middle Ages, excluding: (1) a small tribe of Kanalites situated between the Travunians and Diocleans in today's Konavle, Croatia (2) Guduscani from the early 9th century whose exact location and interpretation is disputed (3) Praedenecenti from the early 9th century who are often identified with Branichevci or Moravtsi (4) the majority of Pannonian Slavs because were not known by a single name and inhabited a large territory (5) the majority of Slavs living in the territory of today's Slovenia because of the same reason.
