Purpose of use

Other. The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as cover art. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. To illustrate and display the evolution of the album's artwork.. Commentary in the article about the cover art itself: This is an early version of the album's artwork, similar to the final product except for a few key details such as the use of the metal flower as centerpiece instead of the chunk of pyrite and the lack of the lacework border.. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the artist's providing graphic design services to music concerns and in turn marketing music to the public.

Replaceable?

As musical cover art, the image is not replaceable by free content; any other image that shows the packaging of the music would also be copyrighted, and any version that is not true to the original would be inadequate for identification or commentary. As with the Official Sister Kinderhook cover, this version is difficult to procure and not readily available as the band is obscure and not possessing of large promotional outlets. This is the only image of this iteration of the album cover announced by the band. No other images exist.
