Summary

Description
English: 3D visualization of the E8 1_42 polytope with 2160 vertices showing 24 concentric hulls grouped by Norm'd distances from the origin from inner to outer varying opacity. This shows Platonic solid related structures and vertex count grouped in sets of 8 with varying opacity). The projection basis vectors are icosahedral giving H3 symmetry:
  • u = (1, φ, 0, −1, φ, 0,0,0)
  • v = (φ, 0, 1, φ, 0, −1,0,0)
  • w = (0, 1, φ, 0, −1, φ,0,0)
